Beehive Hotel

The Beehive Hotel is an eco-friendly one-star hotel near Termini Station with stylish private and shared rooms at low rates. Guests can relax in a sweet little garden or grab a bite to eat in the organic cafe. 

The Beehive offers private single or double bedrooms and dorms that sleep four to six people. Bedrooms have funky floors, chunky wooden furniture and mosaic-tiled sinks (some rooms share bathrooms, while other have private bathrooms). All are equipped with a safe or locker, toiletries and free Wi-Fi. The hotel also offers four shared apartments in a nearby building.

There is an environmentally-friendly ethos at the Beehive Hotel. “Organic”—from the cleaning products to the tasty food served in the breakfast café—is a buzzword here, and eastern-inspired touches (striped rugs, candles, incense...) are mixed in. The white walls are decorated with the owner’s photographs and the reception area often hosts art exhibitions.

Additionally, air conditioning is absent at the Beehive Hotel (on environmental grounds), except in two rooms called "The Sweets" and "Urbe." There are no TVs either, but there is a great reading area with comfy settees and board games. The whimsical garden, with its grape vines and lemon trees, is another great place to unwind.

The Beehive Hotel also has a small café, which can cater to vegan and gluten-free requirements upon request—something not so easy to find in Rome. A lovely organic breakfast is also available here, for an additional charge.

Step out of the garden gate and you’ll see Termini Station. For connections to public transport, including airport connections, it’s just a two-minute walk.

One thing to note before booking: the hotel's reception is not open 24/7. Reception hours are 9 a.m. to 9 p.m.
