Cheap hotels near Campo Santa Margherita in Venice, Italy
Considered a social hub for Venice’s university students, the Campo Santa Margherita in Dursoduro is named for the church that sits here. The square, which dates to the 1400’s and was a fish market in the 18th century, is surrounded by homes, Renaissance buildings, trendy bars, shops and cafés.
The Campo also serves as a traditional market square, hosting a regular produce market. It’s a quick walk from here to the Peggy Guggenheim Collection or Ca’ Foscari University.
