Cheap hotels near École Militaire in Paris, France

The École Militaire is a complex of buildings in the 7th arrondissement that houses a variety of French military training and education schools. Founded in 1750, The École Militaire has trained French military officers for centuries—in fact, a young man named Napoleon Bonaparte once roamed its halls, famously graduating in one year rather than the normal two.

Set at the southeastern end of the Champ de Mars, directly facing the Eiffel Tower, the École Militaire can boast of a stellar location. In addition to the tower, it is a short walk from here to the charming market street of rue Cler, the Hotel des Invalides and, just a bit further, the cafes of St-Germain. Hop on the Metro at the École Militaire stop (line 8), and you’re a short ride away from most of the sights in the Right Bank.

Cheap hotels near the École Militaire: There are a number of affordable hotels right adjacent to the École Militaire, perhaps as a result of its desired location near the Eiffel Tower. The majority of these will be to the northeast, in the neighborhood around rue Cler.
