Right on Kossuth Lajos utca in the central Pest neighborhood of Belváros, the Leo Boutique Rooms' (formerly Hotel Leo Panzió) rates and classier-than-average atmosphere make it a true Cheapo find.

The 14-room Leo Boutique Rooms sits on the third floor of a turn-of-the-last-century building. Gray furnishings with fur bed spreads and animal skin rugs are over-the-top, but still attractive. Some rooms have a sweet view of the Franciscan Church across the street, and rooms facing the street are surprisingly quiet. All rooms are equipped with television, phone, minibar, and air conditioning.

The color scheme is carried over downstairs in the breakfast room. Dining tables are dolled up with simple white linens and fancier silver trays full of fixings. Add floor-to-ceiling windows and the effect is four-star quality without the four-star price.

Prospective visitors without a sense of direction should still be able to find their way to Leo Boutique Rooms. Signs posted on light posts and concrete walls along Kossuth Lajos utca lead guests to the front door.
