Maldron Hotel Parnell Square

Maldron, an Irish hotel chain, has multiple properties in Dublin. The four-star Maldron Parnell Square, located a full block from Parnell Square, is an aesthetically interesting hodgepodge. The lobby relies on reworked 1960s pop imagery to make its mark, while the 105 rooms are rather standard mid-range hotel fare.

The Maldron Parnell Square’s guestrooms feature little to set them apart from the pack. That said, their fluffy, straight-forward duvets and comforters look awfully comfortable. And there are at least two lovely surprises here, including the awfully smart desks with ample drawer space and cute bubble-form desk lamps, which inject a delightful sophistication. All rooms are equipped with air conditioning a coffeemaker and television.

All bathrooms are private. We found their sandstone bathroom tiles warm and pleasing.
