Cheap hotels near Nieuwe Kerk in Amsterdam, Netherlands
With a prime location right on Dam Square and next to Amsterdam’s Royal Palace, the Nieuwe Kerk is no longer used as a church. Rather, the Kerk is a popular event space and considered one of the most happening exhibition halls in central Amsterdam.
In addition to hosting great art expos, the former church also maintains two 16th-century organs and hosts frequent concerts. Talk about acoustics! The church is also used for royal weddings and memorial services.
