NY Moore Hostel

The quirky, super cheapo NY Moore Hostel offers beds or private rooms for three just a short walk from the subway into Manhattan.

Funky wall murals cover most of the hostel, and the furnishings and decor are a hodge-podge of patterned quilts, striped shower curtains, mismatched chairs and tables and a stray knick knack here and there. While nothing matches, it still all goes together and creates a homey, welcoming atmosphere — not unlike the college dorms of our youth.

While the in-room amenities are limited (free Wi-Fi, air conditioning), the hotel offers a library space as well as a game room with pool and foosball.

Breakfast is not available, but you’ll find plenty of options in the neighborhood.
