Benefits of European Buses
European bus travel is usually affordable and often very comfortable. Bus travel offers an experience that can't be had by any other mode of transportation.
What do we mean by this? Well, first of all, bus travel often involves travel through rural districts beyond the reach of trains and main thoroughfares. This means that you will be able to see parts of Europe, in particular small towns, villages, and mountain territories, that you won't be able to experience from a train or plane.
What can you expect from a bus journey? it's almost impossible to generalize about bus travel. Some bus lines are air-conditioned and extremely comfortable. In Austria and Switzerland, many bus lines are run by national postal services. Bus services in some countries, especially in southeastern Europe, are run informally and without rigid schedules.
As a general rule, bus stations are located in city centers, often adjacent to or in striking distance of train stations.

Some Disadvantages of Busing in Europe
There are also some disadvantages to bus travel. Buses are usually far slower than trains. In some places (notably parts of southeastern Europe) bus services are unpredictable and not well organized. Comfort will also be a concern for some people. Air conditioning is certainly not guaranteed. Investigate each bus line and journey when you book your tickets.
