Cheap hotels near Parc de la Ciutadella in Barcelona, Spain
Located just northeast of the Ribera, the Parc de la Ciutadella was for many years the city's only park, and is still today the largest in the center. Its 70 acres offer grand gardens, two museums (zoology and geology), a zoo and a lovely fountain.
The park was laid out in the late 19th century and hosted the city's 1888 Universal Exhibition, for which the city built several modernist buildings.
