Cheap hotels near Parc Guell in Barcelona, Spain
Planted into a hillside in residential Gracia, Gaudi’s Parc Güell was constructed by the visionary artist between 1900-1914. The park was originally intended to be a housing estate made up of 60 homes, a marketplace, and various public spaces and gardens.
Instead, only two of the homes were built, and the complex opened to the public in 1922. Today, it’s one of the city’s most popular (and most photographed) attractions, with its masterful mosaics, inspired building designs and incredible city views.
Cheap hotels near Parc Güell: While we don’t recommend many budget hotels in Gracia, we do have a few favorites in nearby Eixample, and, of course, further down in the Barri Gotic.
