Car rental rates
Renting a car in Prague is fairly straight-forward. That said, car rentals are not cheap in the Czech Republic, a fact that stands in marked contrast to the pricing of most things in the city.

Finding a rental
There are a few car rental establishments within Prague city limits. Small, local companies are cheaper but less likely to have an English speaking staff. International car-rental offices for A Rent Car/Thrifty, Avis, Budget, Europecar and Hertz can be found within the city.
Rental tips
To get the best price, reserve a car before leaving home. Ask for an all-inclusive rate with full insurance and unlimited kilometers. Many of the less expensive rental cars in Europe will have neither air conditioning nor roll-down windows. To get the best deal, shop around, reserve ahead of time and pay in advance.
