Hotel Gat Point Charlie

The three-star Gat Point Charlie boasts cool, contemporary-designed rooms and a convenient location just off Checkpoint Charlie, Friedrichstrasse, and near Potsdamer Platz.

The 150-room hotel offers reasonably-priced standard double rooms, and larger superior rooms, all equipped with air conditioning, free Wi-Fi, flat-screen TV, and private baths (with rainshower head). The look is modern and minimalist, with large expanses of white and clean surfaces. Given that the upgrade to superior rooms usually runs only slightly more (and that the superior rooms are about 100 sq. ft larger), we think the upgrade is a wise investment!

Breakfast is served downstairs, and sometimes included in the room rate (double check when booking). The Potsdamer Platz U-Bahn stop is a very quick walk from the hotel, making the location convenient (although most Mitte sights are also within walking distance of the hotel).
