Cheap hotels near Anne Frank House in Amsterdam, Netherlands
For two years, Anne Frank’s family hid in the rooms at 263 Prinsengracht, a canal-side house located in the Grachtengordel West neighborhood. Here, the young Anne (1929-1945) penned her world-famous diary before her family was eventually betrayed and moved to concentration camps.
Today, the home encompasses two buildings and serves as a museum. You can visit many of the spaces in which the Franks lived, take in special exhibits, and see Anne’s original diary, published in 1947. With more than one million visitors each year, we recommend getting tickets far in advance. They are available only online, and we've created a guide to getting Anne Frank House tickets.
