Boutique Hotel Kerlin

The three-star Boutique Hotel Kerlin — formerly theHotel Alexander beim Kurfürstendamm — features 18 airy guest rooms.

Guests who appreciate “modern” design (read: glass desks, red carpets, and decorative light fixtures) will appreciate what the Hotel Kerlin has in store for them. Rooms are comfy and include the standard amenities, including a phone, safe and television (a minibar is also available upon request). The private bathrooms are spic-and-span, tiled and fresh. They offer a hair dryer (but no toiletries).

The hotel is spread over two floors. We preferred the brighter top floor, where two rooms have balconies, to the darker ground floor. 

The Hotel Kerlin is the sort of place that guests remember. Not only does it have a great location on pretty Pariserstrasse, two blocks from the Ku'damm, but it offers the sort of friendly service that makes guests feel at home. Plus, it’s a “green hotel,” using clean energy, organic foods and natural cleaning products.

A lovely breakfast spread (extra charge) is served daily in a bright breakfast room, or on the lush terrace when weather permits. Wi-Fi is free throughout.
