Cheap hotels near Gothic Quarter in Barcelona, Spain
Situated to the east of the Ramblas, the winding medieval streets of Barcelona’s Gothic Quarter (or “Barri Gotic”) are simply enchanting and make up the heart of the city’s old city. Wander along the pedestrian-only streets, and take in the buildings (most of which date from the 14th-15th centuries), the shops, and the general mood.
La Seu, the city’s cathedral, is located in the heart of the Gothic Quarter and is a must for any first-time visitor to the city.
