Cheap hotels near Bloemenmarkt in Amsterdam, Netherlands
What’s that you say? A flower market that floats? You’ve found Amsterdam’s Bloemenmarkt! Believe it or not, the city used to have multiple floating markets, but the Bloemenmarkt is the last remaining of its kind in central A’dam.
The market, a colorful, fanciful display of floral booths, souvenir purveyors and garden shops is still one of the main suppliers of flowers to Amsterdam’s residents and local businesses. It’s open daily, Monday through Friday, from 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. You’ll find it docked on the southern part of the Singel canal.
